My darling husband came home with TWO surprises for me the other day.  The first , was the latest issue of Altered Couture.  He knows I look forward to each and every issue.  I savor and soak in every page.  Each creation has the ability to spark something inside of me.  An idea can lead me down a new and exciting road.

He also bought the latest issue of Artful Blogging,  a little confused by this purchase, because even though I have been blogging for almost 2 years I have never consider blogging  artful.   Boy was I wrong!!!!

I have not been able to put it down…well, maybe long enough to go to these ladies  blogs and read more.  If you have never experienced this magazine you are missing out.

I have a secret love for game pieces and dice.  The problem is,  how do you decorate with dice.

I have just thrown them in a large primative bowl.  It’s okay…

BUT…I found this idea somewhere in my archives and I love it.  You don’t need whole rooms, or even walls to exhibit your collection.  You can arrange all sorts of precious pieces in a small but formal space like this Chinese doll case.
